Zidane feels lucky to be able to train Real Madrid

DBasia.news – Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane felt fortunate to be able to coach Los Blancos. As Madrid are inhabited by many of the best players.
Zidane was first appointed as Madrid’s first team coach in 2016 by replacing Rafael Benitez. The French coach also successfully gained a reputation as one of Europe’s best coaches.
Together with Los Blancos, Zidane has won 10 titles. That includes three successive Champions League trophies and one La Liga title.
Zidane had left Madrid at the end of the 2017-2018 season. However, he decided to return to the Santiago Bernabeu last year after Madrid had a bad season with Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari.
Zidane admitted that he was very lucky to be able to coach a club as big as Real Madrid. Although the challenge is not easy, he admitted that he really enjoyed it.
“I am lucky to be at this club and train here. You have to believe what you are doing, enjoy what I have and not think about what I don’t have,” Zidane said on the club’s official website.
“I live day by day. I am fortunate to be able to train the best players. That is what exists if you are at the best club in the world, training the best players. I really enjoy them in matches, but even more so in practices.”
Zidane did not want to discuss about his plans for the future. He claimed to be enjoying his work at this time.
“The reality is that I am at the best club in the world and the only thing I think about is what I am doing. “I didn’t think about what would happen later,” he continued.
“When you lose here people will criticize you, but that will not change anything. We are fine, continue to win, but until now we have not achieved anything.
“We are training well, strongly, thinking the same thing and we only pay attention to what we can control. My future is not at all important.”
