DBasia.news – Zinedine Zidane is rumored to be the coach of Paris Saint-Germain. Reports from France say that PSG finally managed to convince Zidane.
As reported by Marca, RMC Sport journalist, Daniel Riolo reported that Zidane will replace Mauricio Pochettino as PSG coach. However, this will not happen anytime soon.
PSG decided to give Pochettino time to finish the season. Meanwhile, Zidane will become PSG coach at the latest from June 2022.
Daniel Riolo is known to be the journalist who first leaked the news of Lionel Messi’s transfer from Barcelona to PSG last summer.
Zinedine Zidane is currently unemployed after leaving Real Madrid in May 2021. The 49-year-old man has been linked with several clubs, including PSG and Juventus, and the French national team.
Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino was only appointed as PSG coach in January 2021. The Argentine coach has a contract until 2023.
So far, Pochettino has not been able to lead PSG to win Ligue 1 despite having given 2 other trophies. Meanwhile, this season, Pochettino has led Lionel Messi and his team to speed up in Ligue 1 and has already qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League.
