DBasia.news –  Zinedine Zidane, as Real Madrid coach, denied accusations that he did not respect Gareth Bale. Zidane also stated the reason for not playing him against Bayern Munich in the trial match.

The drama about Gareth Bale at Real Madrid blew hard during the 2019 summer transfer market. Bale was reportedly no longer included in Zinedine Zidane’s plans.

In fact, Real Madrid put Gareth Bale’s name on the list of selling players. However, the former world’s most expensive player never got interested.

Previously, Zinedine Zidane confirmed Real Madrid wanted to sell Gareth Bale. That made Gareth Bale’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, criticize him.

Now Zinedine Zidane turns to reveal what happened. Zidane attacked Gareth Bale, who he said did not intend to appear.

“What I said before was that Real Madrid wanted to sell it. Gareth Bale didn’t play against Bayern Munich because he didn’t want it,” said Zinedine Zidane.

“Gareth Bale said, the club tried to sell him and that was the reason he did not play. At present, Bale is still a Real Madrid player and he is practicing as usual.”

“I have to wait for what will happen tomorrow. Real Madrid are doing what are supposed to do. Gareth Bale is part of the squad and I respect him,” added Zinedine Zidane.

While in Real Madrid’s uniform, Gareth Bale won various prestigious trophies. These include the Champions League, Laliga, and the Club World Cup.
