Didier Deschamps, France national team coach, predicts if Zinedine Zidane will train the French national team in the future.
“One day (Zidane) will serve as the main coach of the French national team,” Deschamps said as quoted from Marca.
“I don’t know when that will happen, but this is very logical. But maybe not in the near future.”
Deschamps and Zidane were the mainstay players of the French national team when they won the 1998 World Cup. They presented the trophy in front of their supporters by beating Brazil 3-0 in the final.
Not only in the French national team but both of them played together at Juventus in the period 1996 to 1999. Deschamps was a defensive midfielder and Zidane was in charge of managing the team’s attacks.
