Zola Assists Sarri in Chelsea

DBasia.news – Chelsea, announcing from the official site, their former striker, Gianfranco Zola will be the assistant manager. Zola will collaborate with The Blues new manager, Maurizio Sarri.
Honestly, Zola is not a new name for Chelsea. The former Italy national team key player was playing for Chelsea in 1996 until 2003.
During his career in Stamford Bridge, Zola played in 311 matches in all leagues. From that matches, Zola scored 80 goals for Chelsea.
Not only that, Zola also had managerial experience in England. Zola handled West Ham United (2008-2010), Watford (2012-2013), and Birmingham City (2016-2017).
Zola felt happy returning to Chelsea. The former striker hopes he can help The Blues to achieve the success under Sarri’s leadership.
“I am very willing to work hard because it is going to be a difficult challenge but I am pleased to be here, and to work hard with Maurizio to be successful,” said Zola in Chelsea official website.
“It would be great to be successful with Maurizio and for the club and I will give my best, as I did in the past as a player,” he continued.
