DBasia.news –  AC Milan legend, Zvonimir Boban, will try to entice Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric, to join the Rossoneri.

Milan, reportedly, will complete the transfer of two players at once: Theo Hernandez and Rade Krunic. Both came from Madrid and Empoli. Not stopping there, Milan are now trying to recruit Modric.

The 33-year-old midfielder has experience and quality of play that can improve Milan’s quality. According to reports from Marca, Boban, Croatian football icon and Milan legend, will try to persuade him to come to the San Siro.

Boban can make it happen as he currently serves as Milan’s Head of Operation. Moreover, Modric once admitted his admiration for the 50-year-old man.

“I want to mention my idol, captain of Croatia in (World Cup) 1998, my greatest inspiration, Boban,” Modric said some time ago.

“The Croatian team inspired us. We hope that it will also be an inspiration for the next generation. We can all be the best, with hard work, confidence and determination. All dreams can come true.”

But, it will not be easy to make it happen, as according to the news published by Gazzetta dello Sport, Modric does not have the intention to leave the club he has strengthened from 2012.
