DBasia.news – Manchester United got their second recruit this summer after Daniel James came from Swansea City. Purchased from Crystal Palace for 50 million pounds, he is Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
United’s fifth most expensive player also expressed his excitement after officially becoming a Manchester United player.
“An extraordinary feeling and I feel honored to be able to call myself a Manchester United player and of course only a few players can say that (Man United players),” he said as quoted by Sky Sports.
“I can’t wait to be able to join the squad. I will enjoy my short vacation after joining the Euro U-21. But I am looking forward to training with my manager and new colleagues on the preseason tour.”
Wan-Bissaka was one of the Palace players who shone last season. Positioned as a fullback, he became the mainstay of manager Roy Hodgson. This is evidenced by 35 appearances in the Premier League.
At United, he is predicted to fill the right-back position, which has so far not found a suitable player. Ashley Young, Diogo Dalot, and Matteo Darmian are considered to have failed to do their jobs.
