AC Milan and Manchester United will mutually benefit from Diogo Dalot’s transfer
By db-admin
DBasia.news – AC Milan reportedly wants to recruit a loan player from Manchester United, Diogo Dalot. Reportedly, The Red Devils are ready to fulfill the Rossoneri’s request.
AC Milan borrowed Diogo Dalot from Manchester United last summer. At that time, Dalot caught Milan’s attention as he was a potential young player.
However, due to a transfer fee, Il Diavolo Rosso could only submit a loan proposal. In addition, Milan also did not want to gamble by signing Dalot on a permanent basis.
Apparently, Diogo Dalot’s appearance did not disappoint. The defender performed beautifully by packing one goal plus two assists in 11 matches in various competitions.
According to Calciomercato, this appearance has made Milan interested in making Dalot permanent. The Rossoneri will make an offer in the upcoming winter transfer market.
For Manchester United, Milan’s offer is very tempting. Currently, The Red Devils are in need of fresh funds to be reinvested in purchasing new players.
Media in England reported that Man United wanted to sign Kieran Trippier to compete with Aaron Wan-Bissaka at the right-back post.
However, Manchester United needs to be patient. The reason is that making Diogo Dalot permanent is not at the top of Milan’s plan in the transfer market.
The Rossoneri are looking to extend Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu’s contracts first. When the two tasks are completed, Milan will immediately contact Manchester United.
