AC Milan Coach Supports Juventus’ Success in the 2018-19 Champions League

DBasia.news –  Juventus were faced with a difficult situation to reverse the backward aggregated goal from Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the last 16 Champions League. The defeat at Wanda Metropolitano hampered Juve’s ambition to become champions this season.

That means, the Bianconeri must win 3-0 to directly qualify for the quarter-finals when entertaining Diego Simeone Atletico at Allianz Stadium in the second leg on Wednesday (13/3) 3:00 a.m. WIB. A tough task, but not impossible.

It takes a strong mentality besides quality in playing offensively or playing well in the match later. AS the aggregated goal is quite complicated for Juve. If Atletico scores just one goal then Juve will have to score more goals, not to mention if they remember the strong defense that Atletico has.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Mario Mandzukic, Paulo Dybala, Douglas Costa, and all of Juve’s weapons will be mobilized by Massimiliano Allegri in the second leg later.

Arrigo Sacchi, Italian soccer teacher and former AC Milan and Italy national team coach, is very confident that Juventus can get rid of Atletico in the second leg.

“I am a lover of beauty and I believe Juve have played well in a number of matches this season. Against Manchester United for example, they played very well even if they lost in the end. I hope to win. It’s just not enough for me,” said Sacchi , as Calciomercato reported.

In Italy, the ego of anti-Juve fans is big enough not to give their support for success in Europe. Especially those who support Inter Milan, AC Milan and Napoli. Nevertheless, Sacchi sees with a broader perspective.

The fact has been widely spoken, that only Juve have been able to consistently compete with big European clubs in recent years – twice reaching the Champions League final. Sacchi said Juve deserved to win to make the Italian football proud.

“To be honest, even so, I have to say that Juve are the only Serie A team that has done something in Europe in the past few years. If it wasn’t for Juve, what had we done? Nothing, so we had to thank Juventus, “Sacchi added.

“I’ll tell you something else. I fully support Juventus and I really hope they qualify against Atletico Madrid and I hope they will win the Champions League. It will be great for the entire Italian football movement,” he concluded.
