DBasia.news –  Shocking news came from AC Milan. As quoted from Corriere dello Sport, the Rossoneri suffered losses reaching 413 million euros or approximately Rp. 6.6 trillion.

Financial problems have hit AC Milan for almost the past decade. Changing owners several times to purchasing and selling players did not resolve the issue.

In the last three years, AC Milan has changed owners three times. Starting from Silvio Berlusconi, Li Yonghong, and Elliott Management helped each other to master the club.

AC Milan had to be stuck with the Financial Fair Play (FFP) in recent years. Conditions worsened after they were even more in debt.

Failure to qualify for the Champions League exacerbates the situation. Without money from the competition, AC Milan’s financial situation was even more unpredictable.

For the 2018-2019 season alone, AC Milan has lost 100 million euros (Rp. 1.6 trillion). I Rossoneri needed to sell players with a tag of at least 30 million euros (Rp 480 billion) to avoid FFP.

The amount has been reduced compared to the previous season. In the 2017-2018 season, AC Milan lost 126 million euros (Rp 2.02 trillion).

Overall, AC Milan has lost 413 million euros over the past five years. Almost every season the loss suffered by Il Diavolo Rosso gets bigger.
