AC Milan lost twice in a row, Leonardo guarantees a secure position for Gennaro Gattuso

DBasia.news – AC Milan went straight through the negative period after going through matches without ever losing. Nevertheless, according to Milan’s Sports Director, Leonardo, Gennaro Gattuso’s position is still safe.
AC Milan again swallowed the slits after being arrested by Sampdoria 1-0 in the Serie A advanced match 2018-2019, at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, Saturday (30/3) local time or Sunday morning Western Indonesian Time. Previously, Suso and his friends were beaten by Inter Milan 3-2.
AC Milan’s performance this season is still in a frenzy. After struggling at the start of the season, Milan began to rise in the middle of the competition. But now, the pace of Milan again slowed down.
“Gennaro Gattuso has a contract with Milan. We have never debated that. We are always very clear,” Leonardo said as quoted by Four Four Two.
“His future is not a priority and I am frankly surprised when the media crew keeps asking questions about it. He was at work before we arrived, but we never considered the idea to replace it,” continued the former Inter Milan coach.
“If we win the Scudetto with Gattuso one day it will be extraordinary because he made history with Milan as a player. After saying that, the next two months is an eternity in football.”
This fatigue made AC Milan’s position threatened in the Champions League zone. However, Leonardo remains optimistic he can reach the target of competing in the Champions League next season.
“Our club is proficient in the calculation scenario. We are concentrating on the possibility of the Champions League and are very confident we can reach fourth place,” Leonardo said.
“AC Milan hasn’t done it for six years. However, this team has found its shape and we hope to achieve it,” Leonardo said.
