DBasia.news – The latest rumor from the transfer market said that AC Milan won’t make Gonzalo Higuain’s contract permanent. El Pipita is the on-loan player from Juventus. The news makes Chelsea getting ready to sign him.

It’s no longer a secret that Higuain was the target of Chelsea during the 2018 summer transfer market. At that time, Maurizio Sarri assumed Higuain could complete his tactic. Moreover, Higuain and Sarri once collaborated in Napoli.

However, Higuain refused Chelsea’s offer. The former Real Madrid player said it’s just Sarri who wanted him but not the others.

Eventually, Gonzalo Higuain decided to join AC Milan. He was signed with the loan transfer formula worth 18 million euro plus the buyout option at the end of the season 36 million euro.

AC Milan start to think twice when UEFA decided to set the revenue of Rossoneri in the Europa League to 12 million euro. Besides that, Milan only played with 21 players in the Europe competition for the next two seasons and might be banned if they don’t pay the debt until 2021.

Sky Sport and Corriere della Sera said the problems make Elliott isn’t interested to renew Higuain’s contract. The 36 million euro fee could disturb the financial balance.

Besides these factors, AC Milan are not satisfied with Higuain’s performance so far. Il Pipita just scored 7 goals from 16 matches.

The number is the same as Rossoneri young striker, Patrick Cutrone. But, the Italian bomber is better with the average one goal for every 137 minutes and Higuain 197.

Rai Sport reported AC Milan would send Higuain to Chelsea in the middle of the season as the strategy to reduce the salary spending. Later, The Blues would be the one who pay for the salary until the end of the season before the renegotiation with Juventus.

But, before signing Higuain, Chelsea need to prepare one place in the attacking line. Releasing Alvaro Morata might be the option.
