According to the Mirror, De Bruyne’s agent, Patrick De Koster, is currently being detained by the Belgian police. This was done after De Bruyne and his father, Herwig, reported and asked the police to carry out an investigation.
The reason, they found a number of alleged financial fraud involving millions of pounds.
De Koster was arrested at his home by the police and fraud / embezzlement authorities. He was arrested last Thursday (27/8/2020). He is now detained and is scheduled to appear before court on Wednesday (02/09/2020).
With the agent being detained, negotiations for De Bruyne’s new contract at City has beendelayed. This is bad news for City.
