Ahead of U19 Asian Cup, Indra Sjafri Formulated the Right Formation

DBasia.news – The U19 Indonesia national team will have a match in the 2018 U19 Asian Cup. The Garuda Muda team belong to Group A with the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Chinese Taipei.

U19 Indonesia national team coach, Indra Sjafri, plans to finalize the strategy by conducting two friendly matches against the teams from West Asia. They are Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

The U19 national team will play against Saudi Arabia on October 9, 2018, and Jordan three days later.

“We have to find the perfect formulation. It doesn’t mean that we never win against the teams with tall and big players,” Indra said.

Indra thinks the ambition from Saddil Ramdani and friends to compete with the higher opponents won’t be just a dream. Moreover, in his era, the U19 national team once won the match against the UAE and South Korea.

“We won against the UAE and South Korea. We have to find the players who could conduct the game plan for the opponents like them,” Indra added.
