DBasia.news – Alexis Sanchez finally spoke of his former manager at Manchester United, Jose Mourinho, who he claims to have made the club’s internal situation worse. Nevertheless, Sanchez still considers Mourinho as one of the world’s top coaches.
Manchester United fired Jose Mourinho after a series of negative results. The Portuguese coach only put the Red Devils in the middle of the standings board.
Manchester United’s decision to fire Jose Mourinho gave a good outcome. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was chosen as a substitute, brought Paul Pogba and his mates to 10 wins in 12 matches.
After several months passed, Alexis Sanchez finally spoke up. According to the Chilean player Mourinho made the Manchester United locker room condition not conducive.
“Jose Mourinho is one of the best coaches in the world, in the way he trains, the way he studies videos and the way he handles things,” commented Sanchez as reported by the BBC.
“However, in the group there is a feeling that you are in a team, then comes out. Sometimes I don’t play then I do it. Then, I don’t and as a player you lose confidence. Then it creates an unhealthy atmosphere,” he added.
“I have been playing football since I was five years old. If the ball was taken, I would have lost my pleasure,” Sanchez said.
Manchester United will travel to Chelsea’s headquarters in the FA Cup fifth round match, at Stamford Bridge Stadium, Tuesday (19/2). The Blues can be the first team to beat Manchester United in five matches in the FA Cup.
