DBasia.news – Manchester United striker Alexis Sanchez is ready to play when his team plays against Newcastle United at St James Park, Thursday (3/1). Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed it.
The Norway player said that Sanchez was ready to play against Bournemouth. However, the Chilean player wasn’t listed in the starting eleven and substitute players. Ole said that he had to take a big decision to preserve his condition.
Alexis Sanchez hasn’t been playing since November 2018 due to injury. He returned to the pitch this week and his health is doubted. However, Solskjaer confirmed that the No. 7 player would be involved in the match against Newcastle.
“He is champing at the bit. He wants to play all the time, he’s one of those characters,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said quoted from FourFourTwo, Tuesday (1/1).
“Alexis has had some great training sessions over the last few days and wanted to be (involved in Sunday’s 4-1 win over Bournemouth) as well but we’ve had to manage him. He’s been out for a month. He will be involved (at Newcastle),” said The Baby-faced Assassin.
So far, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer enjoys the perfect start as the interim manager of Man United. He gained three victories from three initial matches with great scores.
