DBasia.news –  The expectations and pressures felt by Liverpool in this season after spending a year buying players (2018). Funds amounting to 150 million pounds were released in the transfer market last summer.

The transfer strategy applied by the club seems to be quite appropriate, even though no longer participating in two domestic competitions namely the League Cup and FA Cup, Jurgen Klopp’s side appear strong when competing in the Premier League. Until the 25th week, they only lost once and are now firmly on top with a collection of 62 points.

Unfortunately, entering the second half of the season, the Reds’ performance has seen a decline, as if they have experienced inconsistencies and even twice won a draw, namely when meeting Leicester City and West Ham United.

This then made the public judge if the club based at Anfield began to be pressured to be at the top of the Premier League standings. Feeling annoyed with all the public assumptions on the Reds, now the team’s main goalkeeper, Alisson Becker finally opened his voice and confirmed that the club based at Anfield should not slip back and be obliged to win the remaining games.

“Liverpool must be prepared to face any situation, because a bad situation will definitely be experienced by the team. I believe that this team is on the right track, but now me and the other players no longer have room to make mistakes,” Alisson said as reported by Goal.

“If the team still has the desire to win, then we have to win all the remaining matches,” added the player who was brought in from AS Roma.

A draw against West Ham was clearly a very detrimental thing for the 2018/19 Champions League finalists, although still at the top of the standings, now the points distance with Manchester City is only three points left.
