DBasia.news – Cristiano Ronaldo has been appointed as Juventus penalty executor despite his early arrival this summer. The coach Massimiliano Allegri has the reason why he took that decision. It’s related to the past.

Juventus defeated Fiorentina 3-0 on the 14th-week 2018-2019 Serie A match at Stadio Artemio Franchi, Sunday (2/121). One of the three goals were created by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Juventus and Fiorentina attacked each other in the first half. Bianconeri started the victory by Rodrigo Bentancur’s kick at 31′.

La Vecchia Signora added the goa when Giorgio Chiellini scored the goal at 69′. It was started from the situation in front of the goal.

Despite his early arrival this season, Ronaldo is the executor of Juventus’ penalty. Apparently, Allegri has his own reason.

“Ronaldo takes the penalties. After he’s scored that one against us in the (98th) minute at 139km/h, am I supposed to let somebody else do that?” Allegri said cited by Soccerway.

Previously, Cristiano Ronaldo still played for Real Madrid and became Juventus’ nightmare after scoring the penalty kick in the group phase of 2017/2019 Champions League. The goal made Bianconeri failed to continue the journey.

“He has to do something to be forgiven. He’s got to take penalties and score… always,” Allegri emphasized.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the first Juventus player who scores 10 goals in his debut in Serie A since John Carles did the same thing in 1957/1958. The additional three goals bring Paulo Dybala and friends to stay comfortably as the leader with 40 point.s.
