DBasia.news – Niko Kovac, coach of Bayern Munich, asked his foster children to improve ahead of the match against Liverpool. Because recently they almost swallowed defeat against Augsburg.
Bayern Munich was surprisingly left behind when they met Augsburg. Luckily, Die Bayern was able to turn things around and win 3-2.
According to Niko Kovac, the players of the Bayern Munich lost their concentration in the match. They have thought about the party against Liverpool in the Champions League.
“We are having a hard time facing this match. I don’t remember we conceded that fast. I think this is quite strange,” said Niko Kovac after the match.
“Maybe, we have thought about the match against Liverpool unconsciously. It’s not good, but we are only human,” he continued.
Even so, Niko Kovac assesses these results can be a lesson for Bayern Munich. That way, Die Bayern can be more concentrated when met Liverpool.
“Mistakes like this should not happen against Liverpool. If they do that, there are Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino there,” said Niko Kovac.
“After that, we are in a very dangerous situation every minute. That’s why it’s important to bring the ball with responsibility and discipline.”
“After that, you can survive. However, if you let your opponent run, every team (including Liverpool) has the quality to score,” concluded Niko Kovac.
