Anti-Climax at the Madrileno El Derbi

DBasia.news –  The Madrileno El Derbi or the Madrid Derby between Real Madrid against Atletico Madrid at Wanda Metropolitano, LaLiga week seven, Sunday (29/9) AM, ended in a goalless draw.

The seventh week of the 2019-2020 LaLiga duel brought together city rivals. Both teams are also competing in the top flight of the standings.

“Real Madrid does lack creativity, but not too much. They just needs a little touch. I can’t criticize the players more,” said Zinedine Zidane.

“In my opinion, Real Madrid deserved the victory. However, in the end points are points. We have a chance, especially from Karim Benzema’s header,” he continued.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid coach, Diego Simeone, feels his squad still needs improvement. Simeone assess that Los Rojiblancos has wasted a lot of chances in the first half.

“In the second half, Jan Oblak made a save from Karim Benzema’s header. In my opinion, this match was difficult and both teams lacked what was needed to win,” Diego Simeone said.

These results have made Real Madrid topped the 2019-2020 LaLiga standings with 15 points. While Atletico Madrid who is in third place is one point behind.
