Antoine Griezmann LEaves from Atletico Madrid at the Right Time

DBasia.news –  Diego Simeone claims that if the attacker cancels to head to Camp Nou, the relationship between the two might be in a mess.

Simeone is one of the busiest interpreters in Europe as a number of his players have left the club.

Filipe Luis, Diego Godin, Lucas Hernandez, Rodri and Juanfran had left but they brought in Felipe, Mario Hermoso, Hector Herrera, Renan Lodi, Marcos Llorente and Kieran Trippers.

In the last 14 months of Godin’s departure, Filipe Luis, Juanfran and Fernando Torres were welcomed by supporters, however, the situation was different from Griezmann who expressed his desire to leave in May.

“Because it is not at the same time,” explained Simeone.

“From a sporting point of view, Griezmann’s action for Atletico was extraordinary. In five years he managed to grab the status of one of the top scorers in the club’s history.”

“When he came and talked about leaving the club, I immediately felt that. I think he left at the best time to develop his abilities.”

“I understand that players have needs. There is no problem as long as those needs do not bother me. If the needs of players who stay at the club bother me, maybe we will not be friends anymore,” he concluded.
