Antonio Conte considers this to be the cause of Inter Milan’s defeat at Dortmund Headquarters

DBasia.news –  During this season, Inter Milan coach, Antonio Conte, believes his club were able to compete competitively in two different events. After the defeat of Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, Conte also accused there was an error in Inter Milan’s policy to make a player transfer.

Inter Milan played at Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund headquarters, in the fourth match of the Champions League group F, Thursday (11/06) AM. Having a 2-0 lead from goals from Lautaro Martinez (5 ‘) and Matias Vecino (40’), Dortmund won back in the second half from two goals Achraf Hakimi (51 ‘and 77’) and Julian Brandt (64 ‘).

Inter are ranked third in Group F standings with four points, behind Barcelona (eight points), Dortmund (seven points), and above Slavia Prague (two points).

“We have a squad that is too limited to play in Serie A and the Champions League this season. My strength is limited, both in terms of quantity and quality,” Conte told Sport Mediaset.

“Some players must be on a constant playing field and run a lot, you pay the consequences. I am furious because this has finished all the good work (so far).”

Conte is increasingly frustrated as of the lack of depth in the Inter squad this season. This can be seen from only three players who were injured. Especially according to Conte, in the current Inter squad, many players have never won a trophy.

“I did not ask the club for anything, they are the players and we went to fight with them. The club will make an evaluation, I just said we all made big mistakes when making plans this season,” added Conte.

“We are in an emergency situation with only three players injured, when other teams have injury problems and are not even visible (the impact on team play). We don’t.”

“We’re talking about a group of players who, apart from (Diego) Godin, haven’t won anything. It’s hard to deal with this difficult situation.”

“Who can I call? Nicolo Barella, newly recruited from Cagliari? Or Stefano Sensi, who arrived from Sassuolo? I will always be grateful to players who give their souls and hearts, and I know what I am asking is producing difficulties. We can not let our position in the standings raise the problem that is here,” concluded the Italian coach.

Inter Milan have brought in eight players this season, they are: Matteo Politano (permanent from Sassuolo), Eddie Salcedo, Gabriel Brazao, Godin, Valentino Lazaro, Lucien Agoume, Andrei Radu, Alexis Sanchez, and Romelu Lukaku.
