Barcelona Coach Praises Vinicius Junior’s Performance at Real Madrid

Barcelona’s tactician, Ernesto Valverde, commented on Vinicius Junior’s debut season as a Real Madrid player. Valverde admits that Vinicius has extraordinary abilities for a young player.

As is known, Vinicius was officially part of the Madrid squad in the 2019 summer transfer market. Vinicius was brought in by Madrid management from one of the Brazilian League participants, namely Flamengo.

Vinicius was initially plotted to become a future player of Madrid. That was proven by the name listed in the Madrid Castilla squad. But when trusted to appear in the main squad by Santiago Solari, Vinicius’s performance actually attracted attention.

Since then, Vinicius has been routinely trusted to fill in one position in the main squad of Los Merengues – Madrid’s nickname. Even in a crucial duel against Barca in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semifinal in the 2018-2019 season, many hoped Solari will play Vinicius from the early minutes.

Valverde was not too surprised by what Vinicius has shown with Madrid so far, considering that the Brazilian has an average ability. Even so, Valverde claimed to not be worried about Vinicius’s presence in Madrid’s match against Barca early tomorrow.

“He (Vinicius) underwent an extraordinary season. He has high confidence and is also blessed with speed. However, his presence in the opposing camp will not worry me, “Valverde said, as quoted by Sport.
