Barcelona has Yet to Negotiate with Antoine Griezmann

DBasia.news –  Barcelona through their president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, insisted that they have yet to have a conversation with Antoine Griezmann.

The French star was believed to soon be joining the Blaugrana after announcing he would close his five-year story at Atletico Madrid at the end of the 2018/19 season.

However, rumors had cooled amid the interest from Paris Saint-Germain, until Atletico CEO, Angel Gil Marin, signaled that Griezmann’s transfer to Barcelona was complete.

Gil Marin claims to have known Griezmann’s desire to head to Barcelona since last March. Bartomeu then denied the claim. “Nothing will be announced. We always say the same thing. We have never spoke to him. There is nothing for that,” Bartomeu said.

“We’ll see how the transfer market changes in the next few days and weeks.”
