Barcelona
DBasia.news – After losing 0-1 to Athletic Bilbao and a 5-2 win over Real Betis, FC Barcelona will play LaLiga promotion team Osasuna.
On paper and individual players, Barcelona is the favorite to win the match later. However, Jagoba Arrasate’s Osasuna cannot be underestimated. They went through the first two games without losing: winning against Leganes (1-0) and a draw against Eibar (0-0).
Los Rojillos collectivity forms a solid defense in the backline. The goal guarded by Ruben Martinez has not even conceded a goal. Their style of play can complicate Barcelona as when they lost to Bilbao.
Not only that, the matchday three of LaLiga which took place at El Sadar, Osasuna’s headquarters, Saturday (8/31) at 22:00 Western Indonesian Time, was also Osasuna’s main force since they were still playing in the Segunda Division.
According to Marca, Osasuna has never lost (unbeaten) at El Sadar for 26 consecutive matches in the league with a record of 19 wins and two draws in the Segunda Division. Amazingly they only conceded 10 goals.
The final defeat came on April 1, 2018, when Tenerife won 1-0, plus in a different event, the Copa del Rey, when Osasuna lost 1-2 to Reus. Apart from those two games, Osasuna conceded just a few goals and in the last 441 minutes, they didn’t concede a goal.
What is the meaning of the note? Simple. Barcelona is predicted to have difficulty playing at El Sadar because the home team will close in defense, rely on counterattacks, and support from the home fans.
Kans Barca to win will increase if Lionel Messi can return to play. In Barca’s first two games at LaLiga, La Pulga failed to play due to an injury that was followed by the fate of Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele.
