Benched in Two Consecutive Matches, Mourinho Denied Conflict with Pogba

Jose Mourinho
DBasia.news – Four consecutive matches with no victory in Manchester United finally ended on the 16th-week. The Red Devils won 4-1 against Fulham at Old Trafford on Saturday (8/12).
Ashley Young, Juan Mata, Romelu Lukaku, and Marcus Rashford scored four goals of Man United. Aboubakar Kamara responded with his penalty kick in the second half.
Something interesting happened in that match. The French midfielder, Paul Pogba, was benched for the second time by Jose Mourinho. Previously, Pogba just played for 15 minutes as the cameo during the 2-2 draw match against Arsenal.
Pogba’s bench is strengthening the signal about their internal conflict. Moreover, there was a rumor mentioning Mourinho accused Pogba as the virus in the dressing room.
Paul Pogba
Mourinho gave his reason for benching Pogba. He said the mentality of 2018 World Cup winner isn’t equal to the teammates in United.
“He has to play with the same mentality as the team is playing. Paul can be a fantastic player, he has the potential to be a fantastic player. Against Valencia, he is going to start and have a fantastic football game to play and to show everybody how good he is,” Mourinho said in Goal.
After the match against Fulham, Man United would visit Estadio Mestalla, Valencia home, in the last match of Group H in the Champions League, Thursday (13/12).
Man United secured the ticket to the knock-out round of Champions League. However, they are still competing with Juventus for the leading position in the table while expecting Bianconeri would play draw or defeated (mostly impossible) against Young Boys.
After the match against Valencia, Man United would play a big match against the rival, Liverpool, in the North West Derby match on the 17th-week of Premier League, Sunday (16/12).
