Borussia Dortmund made Emre Can permanent

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Borussia Dortmund officially made German midfielder, Emre Can, permanent. Can was previously a loan player from Juventus.

Initially, Dortmund borrowed Emre Can until the end of the season. Lucian Favre’s troops also had the obligation to permanently secure the player’s status at a price of 30 million euros at the end of the season.

But as quoted from the BBC, Wednesday (19/02) as of today Juventus has released Emre Can who is no longer a loan player. Dortmund reportedly only paid 25 million euros to be able to make the former Liverpool player permanent.

Moving to Die Schwarzgelben is considered to be a career savior for Emre Can. The Turkish-blooded midfielder wants to save his place in the German National Team for the 2020 European Cup by receiving regular playing hours at club level.

Since coming to Turin 18 months ago from Liverpool for free, Can rarely received the chance to appear. In fact, in 2018-19, he played in 37 appearances with four goals in all competitions. Specifically in the Italian League, Can played 29 times.

Meanwhile, Juventus director, Fabio Paratici, said that Emre Can was an important player for the Bianconerri last season. However, Can is deemed incompatible with Maurizio Sarri’s scheme of play.

“Emre Can is an important player for us. Last season, he was able to show a pretty good performance. However, he is not a player who fits our style of play this season, “stated Fabio Paratici.
