DBasia.news –  Brendan Rodgers, manager of Leicester City, believes his team can provide assistance to Liverpool by beating Manchester City. Rodgers believes his team can beat all teams with the latest conditions.

Leicester have only swallowed one defeat from the last seven matches in the Premier League. The Foxes will visit Man City’s headquarters, Etihad Stadium, in week 37 of the Premier League on Tuesday (7/5) 2:00 a.m. WIB.

Jamie Vardy and mates are in good condition during the match against The Citizens. In the last match Leicester won 3-0 over Arsenal via Youri Tielemans goals and Vardy’s two goals. Their performance has improved since Rodgers came from Celtic.

Leicester are currently ranked ninth in the standings with 51 points. Rodgers is trying to get Leicester to end the season in a better position this season. While Man City are still fighting Liverpool in the path of the Premier League title.

Man City sit at the top of the standings and are one point adrift of Liverpool in second place, who will play Newcastle United on Sunday (5/5) 1:30 a.m. WIB.

Rodgers, who once coached Liverpool (2012-2015), could provide assistance to his former club. He believes Leicester can beat the entire team with the great performances shown so far.

“We have a plan and work that we believe can beat the whole team. We know there are players who can give accurate passes, be distinguished, and all this is a matter of showing quality when controlling the ball,” Rodgers said at a press conference session, quoted from the US .

Pep Guardiola, Man City manager, also knows the threat Leicester can give if his team is careless when they survive. The threat also came from Vardy who had a good record against big Premier League teams.

“Leicester have very good quality. I was really impressed with the way the players played. Of course, the game will be final for us and hopefully, on Monday (England time) fans can help us and we can do what we have to do : win the match, “said Guardiola.
