Bruno Fernandes Asks Manchester United Players to be Sharper in Front of the Goal

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes asked his partners to be sharper in front of the opponent’s goal in next season’s competition. The request was made by Fernandes after The Red Devils lost to Sevilla in the Europa League semifinals.

In the match, The Red Devils actually had many great opportunities that can lead to goals. But Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, and Mason Greenwood failed to convert it into a goal.

Man United took the lead through Bruno Fernandes’ penalty kick. However, Sevilla managed to get back to two goals through Suso and Luuk de Jong so that the final score was 2-1 for the Andalusian team.

Fernandes admitted his team got many great opportunities but they were squandered. These deficiencies must be a lesson in the future.

“It was more than an impressive performance, it was a great performance,” Fernandes said as quoted by the Manchester Evening News, Tuesday (18/8).

In football, he said, it is not enough to simply create opportunities. But it must be followed by a brilliant finish. He hopes that his colleagues will continue to create opportunities because he believes that one day he will definitely score goals.

Fernandes realized that many people were disappointed by the results. Because everyone wants Man United to appear in the final. But it has happened and currently The Red Devils players need to rest to prepare for next season.
