Carlo Ancelotti Demands Napoli Revive in the Champions League

DBasia.news –  The last two games without a win make Napoli a bad period. Carlo Ancelotti wants his side to rise in the Champions League when they host RB Salzburg in San Paolo.

In the last three matches in Serie A Napoli have won two draws against SPAL and Atalanta. Meanwhile, when they travel to AS Roma they lose 1-2.

Therefore Ancelotti wants Lorenzo Insigne and his colleagues to win and rise. According to him, against RB Salzburg will be an important moment for his team to get back to winning ways.

“We got a match that allowed us to qualify for the Champions League group stage. But it will not be easy. We already feel the difficulty of winning in Salzburg,” Ancelotti said as quoted by Football Italia, Monday (11/04/2019).

“If you ask me what I think, I will say that I disagree with the decision made by the club. But the coach is still the coach, so there is no reason for us not to win again here,” he added.

The former AC Milan and Juventus coaches revealed that he was under pressure. Even the president Aurelio De Laurentiis has given him an ultimatum.

“The president called me and said good luck. Nothing has changed, the decision has been made by the club. So the important thing to do is to see the details tomorrow,” concluded Ancelotti.
