Changed the Target, Inter Milan Aim for Chelsea Midfielder

By news-admin

Mateo Kovacic

DBasia.news – PSince last summer transfer market, Inter Milan have been associated with Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric.

But, Nerazzurri’s effort is stuck because El Real President Florentino Perez stated that they have no plan to sell Modric. The former Tottenham Hotspur player also stated his intention to stay at Santiago Bernabeu.

Won’t waste the time, Inter changed the target. Daily Mail reported the club arranged the plan and considering to sign Mateo Kovacic who is in his on-loan period with Chelsea.

Kovacic is no stranger for Inter. Apparently, before deciding to join Madrid, the Croatian player was part of the squad from 2013 until 2015.

But, the chance to bring him home won’t be easy. Apparently, Chelsea have initiated the negotiation with Madrid to make his transfer permanent. Moreover, Kovacic also dropped the hint to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Inter Milan are seriously trying to add the strength for their squad. Despite the top three ranks in the current table, they are 14 points behind the leader, Juventus.

Mateo Kovacic is not the only target. Inter are also ready to make Keita Balde’s contract permanent and might sign Mesut Ozil from Arsenal.
