DBasia.news – Claudio Ranieri is still faced with a challenging mission since replacing Slavisa Jokanovic in Fulham: bringing The Cottagers to survive in the Premier League 2018-19.
Even so, Ranieri’s training journey with Fulham is still far from positive. The Italian coach is still unable to bring The Cottagers out of degradation though still being in the 19th place or is seven points different from Burnley who is in the safe zone – 17th place.
Ranieri who tried to save Fulham, came back to face a difficult challenge in the Premier League continuing match against Manchester United, Saturday (9/2). Seeing the Red Devils’ condition improving after being taken over by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has made the West London club be predicted to lose.
Even so, Ranieri refuses to give up before a fight. Because he has stated that sooner or later Man United under the care of Solskjaer, will experience a defeat for the first time. So the 67-year old coach has an ambition to stop Man United’s unbeaten record.
“We need to think positively and fight. If we don’t fight, then we will lose before even playing. It is not a tragedy, it is football. We are used to striving. If our opponent is better, then it’s good for them,” says Renieri as quoted from Goal.
“though I do want Fulham’s entire squad to keep fighting until the end. The supporters, will surely be pleased to see the player’s battle on every ball. Sooner or later, they (Man United) will experience a defeat. So why not while facing against us?”
from 25 matches in the premier League competition, Fulham has only recorded four wins and has missed 55 times. The record is not a good asset for Ranieri during the match against Man United
