DBasia.news – Along the journey for the eighth consecutive victory of all competitions, Manchester United defeated Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. The manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer got many compliments.
He is the mastermind behind the club’s revival. Solskjaer, 45, was appointed to coach his former club in 1996-2007, replacing Jose Mourinho last December.
Solskjaer’s presence boosted United’s performance. Not only gaining positive results, but The Red Devils also play offensively as the revival of players like Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, and Marcus Rashford.
Lately, Arsenal were the victim of United in the fourth round of FA Cup. At Emirates Stadium, Saturday (26/1), The Gunners got defeated 1-3 by the goals from Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard, and Anthony Martial.
Solskjaer got many compliments and the fans expect him to sign the permanent contract this season. Among many fans, there’s UFC legendary boxer, Conor McGregor.
“Ole Gunnar Solskjær is a special man! The Man United Super Sub.
Player AND Manager. Insane! You can feel the passion he has for his club and it’s history,” McGregor said in @TheNotoriousMMA.
“Beaming with pride as he vividly explains the teams amazing counter attacking ability over the years. Past and present! Wow!”
McGregor even posted the photo when he was still studying. The little McGregor in that photo wore jersey United in the 1995-1996 season.
“I see my son when I look at this. Thank you for sharing. This is a picture from my schools “sports day”, and that infamous Grey Utd jersey,” McGregor added.
“I actually bought myself with my communion money at 8 years of age. I’d love to know where it is now. A truly Notorious football jersey!” he concluded.
