Continue to be criticized, Messi Defended by Falcao

DBasia.news – Colombian striker Radamel Falcao said scathing criticism was a consequence for the world’s best players such as Lionel Messi.
Messi was subjected to disappointment by Argentine fans after failing to help the Tango Team achieve a positive result in the first match of the 2019 Copa America Group B.
Argentina fell two goals without reply from Colombia. According to Falcao, criticism is unfair if it is addressed to Messi who is considered to appear quite slick when facing his team.
“Messi almost scored against us, but he must have done it in a few matches going forward,” Falcao said.
“If Messi scores one goal, people ask for two goals. If he scores a goal with a free kick, they will say the wall is not set properly,” he said.
“If Argentina loses, it’s like it’s his fault. That’s the price you have to pay for being the best player in the world,” he said again.
