Compared to the football players, Ronaldo is dominant. His total followers on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (by October 1) reached 340 million. Neymar is the second with 205 million and Lionel Messi 189 million.

Interestingly, if the comparison is the world’s top athletes, Ronaldo is still leading. With 340 million followers, he is far more popular compared to Los Angeles Lakers basketball players LeBron James (106 million) and UFC athlete Conor McGregor (42 million).

Ronaldo’s followers in social media are even higher than the influential figures in the world like the US President Donald Trump (90 million) to Justin Bieber (284 million). Even the figure like Taylor Swift just has 268 followers in the social media.

KPMG released the rate card for every post on Instagram for the above figures. Ronaldo with 143 million Instagram followers has $750,000 fee for every post.

The number surpassed Kim Kardhasian, Beyonce, to Kendall Jenner. From this list, Ronaldo is just defeated by Selena Gomez ($800,000) and Kylie Jenner ($1M).
