DBasia.news – PCristiano Ronaldo is still one of the world’s best players even though he is no longer young. Besides the trophy achievements, Ronaldo also achieved 5 Ballon d’Or trophies.

But, everything has changed in 2018. Even though he brought Real Madrid to preserve the Champions League for three consecutive times and performing consistently with his new club Juventus, Ronaldo failed to win the Ballon d’Or. The title went to his former teammate, Luka Modric.

It’s predicted as the reason why he didn’t attend that event. But, after moments of silence, the 33-year-old player speaks up and stated that he isn’t obsessed with winning the individual title.

“I’m not obsessed by individual prizes. The most important thing is to win collective trophies and help the team. The rest comes naturally,” Ronaldo said cited by Goal.

“It’s increasingly tough to win so I have to keep working hard to stay on top,” he added.

Currently, Ronaldo is enjoying his first season in Italy. In total, the former Manchester United player has collected 15 goals and 7 assists. Bianconeri are also leading the Serie A table with 53 points, 9 points higher than Napoli in the runner-up position.
