Dalot First Impression Meeting Man United

DBasia.news – Manchester United new player, Diogo Dalot, joined the squad who is now doing the preseason tour in the US. Unfortunately, he hasn’t played any match debut with his team.

Dalot, 19, is still recovering from injury after the knee injury. He will join the squad by September. However, Jose Mourinho brought Dalot into the squad to meet his new teammates.

Dalot was bought from Porto worth £19M. He is in fullback that can play in left or right. Just a few weeks joining Man United, the Portuguese player felt comfortable due to the warm welcome.

“It’s amazing. The teammates have received me very well and I’m so thankful for that. It’s very good to be here. It’s the first experience for me, but I am ready for it,” Dalot said reported by Goal.

“I am trying to recover well (from my injury). Hopefully, I’m ready to know them better. They are a great team,” he continued.

Joining Man United is expected to enhance Dalot’s playing style, who won the U-17 Euro with Portugal national team in 2016. Especially, Dalot just played six times with Porto last season, a lack of experience.

“I hope to be a better player and a better man, to grow up and win. I just want to help the club and my teammates. Hopefully in 12 months, (I can) get better things like I have in the past,” Dalot concluded.
