Dani Alves Is Optimistic PSG Will Win 2018-19 Champions League

DBasia.news –  The ambition to win the Champions League title has been the target of PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) over the past few seasons. Dani Alves believes PSG can achieve it this season, especially after PSG won over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

PSG surprisingly silenced Manchester United at Old Trafford in the 2018-2019 Champions League first leg. In fact, they didn’t even bring their best squad.

Neymar and Edinson Cavani were unable to appear for PSG in the match. The condition is inversed compared to Manchester United who appeared with their best team.

The victory made Dani Alves optimistic that PSG could win the Champions League. The Brazilian defender revealed his team-mates were working hard for it.

“No, PSG does not make the Champions League their main target. We have money to invest. We want to win all competitions,” said Dani Alves.

“PSG works hard every day to reach that target. We want to win the French Cup, the Champions League or the Ligue 1. It will be better to win the Champions League.”

“In my opinion, PSG must break the note and win the Champions League this season. We are working very hard for that,” Dani Alves continued.

PSG have the upper hand to qualify for the next phase. That’s because Les Parisien will be the home team in the second leg.
