Dani Carvajal’s Hopes for Luka Jovic

DBasia.news –  Luka Jovic has been officially brought in by Real Madrid in the transfer market this summer. His arrival was welcomed by El Real right-back, Dani Carvajal. The player believes Jovic can help his team through goals he has often created.

Madrid purchased Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt for £ 60 million. The 21-year-old striker has shown the quality and sharpness of scoring with Frankfurt in the 2018/19 season.

Carvajal, 27, hopes Jovic’s sharpness will continue in Madrid so he can differentiate the team and help share the responsibility of scoring with Karim Benzema.

“(Luka) Jovic is the number 9 attacker who is great and he has (instinct to score) goals. I hope he can be a differentiator for us,” Carvajal said of Jovic, quoted by Standard Sports.

Madrid now have three attackers: Benzema, Jovic and Mariano Diaz. Not to mention those who will return from loan terms such as Borja Mayoral and Raul De Tomas. So, Zinedine Zidane will still work hard to choose the best composition of the squad.

In addition to discussing the matter of Carvajal, Carvajal also welcomed the potential for Eden Hazard’s arrival from Chelsea. “Hazard will give us a lot of things. He is a player who wants the ball and does not hide,” Carvajal added.
