DBasia.news – Two Denmark strikers Nicolai Joergensen and Martin Braithwaite scored the goals securing the 2-1 victory against Wales, also the promotional ticket from League B Group A of Nations League.
This result brings Denmark lead the group standing with 7 points and one remaining match against Ireland who got the relegation earlier, while Wales are in the second position with six points from four matches.
Denmark will be promoted to League A with extra chance to qualify for Euro 2020. The remaining matches will be conducted at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, if necessary.
With just one point and one goal from three matches, Ireland, who will serve Denmark on the last match at Aarhus on Monday, will be in League C for the next edition.
