DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur would have a difficult match against FC Barcelona at Camp Nou, Wednesday (12/12) in the last match of Group B Champions League. Spurs’ next path to the knockout round would be in their hands.
Tottenham are in the second position with 7 points, equals to Inter Milan in the third place. Both still have the chance to accompany Barca to the knockout round.
It won’t be easy to win the match at Camp Nou. Tottenham prominent midfielder, Dele Alli, realizes that it won’t be easy to achieve the victory at Barca home. But, he believes that they could win against the best club in Europe and worldwide.
“It would definitely be up there. They are one of the best teams in the world, they’ve got some great players and as a kid, you dream about playing at the Nou Camp and we’re going to go there and give it our best shot. I’ve had a bit of a cold but it’s not too bad,” Alli told Standard Sport.
“A cold won’t keep me out. We’re ready. It’s going to be another difficult game but they’re the games you want to be a part of, playing one of the best teams in the world and some of the world’s greatest players.”
“You want to be challenging yourself and we’re going there with the mentality that we can win and we have to believe. It’s going to be difficult but we have to go there and give it our best,” Alli insisted.
Meanwhile, Barca who confirmed to the knockout round as Group B table leader, are predicted would rotate the squad, placing the substitute players. Certainly, Ernesto Valverde would consider the squad to maintain the performance.
