Dembele’s Great Admiration to Lionel Messi

DBasia.news –  Ousmane Dembele, Barcelona’s wing forward, did not cover his admiration for the club’s superstar, Lionel Messi. According to him, La Pulga makes soccer seem easy to play because of its ability to change matches.

Even Dembele said playing with Messi also made the game feel easier. The Frenchman said he could play well because there was Messi at his side which made the opposing players focused on La Pulga   – a nickname for Messi.

With a focus on Messi, Dembele became freer to attack and find the right position to be able to score goals. Dembele feels that football has become that simple since playing with Messi at Barcelona. Therefore Dembele was very happy because he had a teammate like Messi.

“It is very nice. He (Messi) makes football feel easier. I gave him the ball and he then did extraordinary things. When he is on the field, it will be easier for me to continue attacking. That’s because the opposing players immediately focus on it,” said Dembele, as reported by Sportskeeda on Monday (2/18/2019).

The duet of Messi and Dembele on the front lines of Barcelona has become one of the best in the European Leagues. They are both important players for Blaugrana   – the nickname for Barcelona – in the last two seasons.
