DBasia.news – Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Marco Reus admitted that he felt disappointed with the squad performance while playing against Club Brugge. However, he mentioned the 1-0 victory in the opening match of Group A qualification of Champions League as an important result.
“Currently, we are not playing the kind of football we want to. In the end, we won, but there is definitely room for improvement,” Reus said after the victory at Jan Breydel Stadium, Bruges, Belgium, on Wednesday as reported by Dortmund’s official website.
“We’ll gladly take the dirty win because it is important to start the Champions League on a high note,” he added.

Dortmund didn’t create many opportunities despite the 68 percent ball possession throughout the match.
Reus and friends just scored 13 kicks, two of them met the target.
The same thing was explained by Dortmund sporting director, Michael Zorc who said his team were lucky to get three points from Belgium.
“It was a lucky win, a dirty win,” he said.
The result brought Dortmund to the runner-up position in Group A temporary standing because Atletico Madrid got a 2-1 winning in AS Monaco home.
