Donny van de Beek Can’t Wait to Play in the Premier League Competition with Manchester United
By db-admin
DBasia.news – The new Manchester United player, Donny van de Beek, admits that he can’t wait to play the Premiere League match with Manchester United.
Manchester United will host Crystal Palace in the second week of the Premiere League, Saturday (19/9).
Officially recruited from Ajax Amsterdam at the end of last month, the Dutch midfielder has actually made his debut match with the Red Devils squad. Van de Beek was grazing when United faced Aston Vila in the pre-season trial match last weekend.
Although not even two months as a United player, Van de Beek feels at home at Old Trafford. This condition, said Van de Beek, was enough to help him increase his confidence while on the field.
“Everyone at this club has helped me and I hope I feel as comfortable as at home. This is very good for me and increases my confidence. This team is like family and I have felt it from the first second I was in this team,” Van de Beek said as quoted by the club’s official website, Thursday (17/9).
The 23-year-old midfielder is also quite enthusiastic about working with his new team-mates. Moreover, in terms of age, most of United’s players are young players and have an age range that is not too far from the Ajax football academy graduates, especially in attack, such as Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, and Anthony Martial.
“I can’t wait to graze with them. There are so many young players in this team, who are not far from me. This is a great opportunity for me to help the team. It’s always great to work with young players. I can learn from everyone, because every player has their own quality of play. This is what I want, and I hope we can achieve success together.”
Not only about the opportunity to work with United’s young players, Van de Beek also can’t wait to appear in front of United’s supporters at the Old Trafford Stadium. According to him, Old Trafford is an extraordinary stadium and has a long history for United supporters.
“I hope, I can appear in front of them at Old Trafford soon. Because their presence will provide so much strength for this team,” he concluded.
