By db-admin
DBasia.news – Former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar revealed that Paul Pogba’s problems should not damage the focus of Manchester United who wanted to appear in the Champions League arena next season.
Manchester United itself was in a positive trend before the Premier League this season was stopped due to the corona pandemic. Therefore van der Sar asked United management to solve the Pogba problem.
“The consistency of what Manchester United needs to have, and the winning mentality. They also have to resolve whatever happens with Paul Pogba. Will Pogba survive? I don’t know,” van der Sar said as quoted by the Manchester Evening News, Wednesday (05/13/2020).
Added by the former Dutch goalkeeper, with the current composition of United’s squad, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s foster children can perform well if the English League is held again.
“I’m sure with David de Gea, Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial, the Manchester United squad is good. Then many potential young players are ready to explode there,” he added.
Meanwhile, Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still believes that Paul Pogba is still playing for United next season. Pogba is currently rumored to go to Real Madrid or Juventus.
Solskjaer said that he really wanted to pair Pogba and Bruno Fernandes when the season was running again.
“Good players can find a way to duet together, so this is an advantage of having them both,” Solskjaer said.
