Dortmund was Almost Defeated by the Caretaker
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Borussia Dortmund was almost defeated by SC Paderborn’s home team before they forced a 3-3 draw in the matchday 12 of the German League at Signal Iduna Park Stadium.
Dortmund even had left behind 0-3 first in the first half due to Streli Mamba’s brace, followed by Gerrit Holtmann’s kick.
Luckily in the second half Jadon Sancho, Axel Witsel and captain Marco Reus scored a goal to secure a point and save their faces in front of their supporters.
One extra point to temporarily lift Lucien Favre’s team to fifth place with 20 points, but their place is threatened with being evicted and slipping to eighth depending on the results of the other 12th week.
Instead, Paderborn (5), who won only once since promotion to the German League, remained unmarked from the bottom of the standings.
