Due to Corona Ole Gunnar-Solskjaer Uses WhatsApp to Train Players

DBasia.news –  Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, maintains contact with his players even though England are in lockdown due to the corona virus outbreak. Solskjaer uses WhatsApp to maintain mutual communication.

The Premier League was officially postponed after a large number of corona-positive patients in the UK, including top figures such as Prince Charles and Boris Johnson. Football clubs can no longer train at the training center for some time.

Staff, players and managers had to remain at home to undergo isolation. Even so, Solskjaer is still able to maintain contact with the Man United squad by using WhatsApp. The Norwegian manager acknowledged the ‘luck’ in living in the modern era with the development of technology.

“I continue to communicate with staff and players,” Solskjaer said as quoted by the official Man United page.

“I used to see them every day for hours, so this was different. I continued to communicate with them in the WhatsApp group and message.”

“It’s a good thing now with technology and we are lucky in that way,” added the former Molde and Cardiff City coach.

In addition to discussing how to maintain relationships with the players, Solskjaer also described the activities carried out at home with his family.

“I think I’m the same as everyone else. There are several (spectacle) Peaky Blinders and the whole series that must be passed, with different episodes and all the old ones like The Sopranos, classic,” added Solskjaer.

“I watched The Joker that night, which was a wake-up call (warning), but, again, we think of people now (in the midst of the corona virus pandemic), too, with mental health problems, when you isolate yourself.”

“I was in the park with my kids, working for the final settlement and the strikers had to work on the final settlement or their movements.”

“We did that (home-schooling) last week when it started and it was a little different, homework is another thing, but really teaching!”

“We made it through last week, but you never know how long this (corona virus outbreak) will last. But the children (in good condition) are great, “said Solskjaer.

Manchester United is currently in fifth place in the standings with 45 points from 29 matches that have taken place. They won the Champions League zone and are three points adrift of Chelsea, who are in fourth in the Premier League standings.
