By db-admin
DBasia.news – El Real captain, Sergio Ramos, was accused of insulting the assistant referee during the match between Real Madrid against Atletico Madrid, at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium, Sunday (8/28) AM. This has made Sergio Ramos unable to appear in the El Clasico match.
The alleged insult towards the referee happened when Real Madrid visited Atletico Madrid headquarters at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, Sunday (9/29) WIB.
At that time, Ramos’s insult was heard by Atletico’s coach, Diego Simeone. The coach then went to referee Gonzalez and asked Ramos to be given a red card. However, at that time the referee did not give any punishment to Ramos.
Related to this incident, LaLiga as the competition operator is reportedly conducting an investigation. If proven guilty, Ramos will face further sentence.
If you see the existing rules, players can receive sanctions in the form of a ban of up to four matches if found assaulting the referee physically or verbally. If Ramos is sentenced, it is certain that he will miss the El Clasico match against Barcelona.
Ramos will have the same fate as Atletico’s attacker, Diego Costa, who was sentenced for insulting the referee in a match against Barcelona last season. At that time, Diego Costa was sentenced to a ban in appearing in matches.
