Emery Denies Forbidding Ozil to Meet Low

DBasia.news – Some British media reported Arsenal coach Unai Emery denies to give permission for Mesut Ozil to meet Germany national team coach, Joachim Low in Arsenal home. As reported, Low wanted to persuade Ozil to return to Germany national team.

However, Emery denied it after Arsenal’s 3-1 victory against Brentford in the EFL Cup. “It’s not true that I didn’t let Mesut meet with Low,” Emery said quoted by Sky Sports.

According to some sources, Emery forbid the meeting in purpose because he didn’t want Ozil’s focus distracted between Arsenal and Germany national team. “I had no problem in our situation in the training ground. It’s not true,” the former Paris Saint-Germain coach said.

Mesut Ozil got criticized from Germany public before the 2018 World Cup. At that time, the player took a photo together with Turkey president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Some parties accused Ozil supported the human rights violation because Erdogan was rumored to be involved in some horrible cases like the detention without trial or murderer.
