DBasia.news – On Saturday (29/9), Tottenham Hotspur will visit The John Smith Stadium of Huddersfield Town. In this match, Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino will send the prominent attacking midfielder, Christian Eriksen.
The 26-year-old player wasn’t playing in the match between Tottenham against Watford by the penalty shootout in the EFL Cup, won by Tottenham. Apparently, after the match against Brighton & Hove Albion (22/9), Eriksen felt the problem with his stomach.
In the match against Brighton, Eriksen played full-time but afterward, he felt the pain in the stomach. “I think it’s a small thing. I hope for next week he will be available again. For Barcelona? I hope yes,” Pochettino said. Indeed, on Wednesday (3/9), Tottenham will meet Barca.
Eriksen’s appearance in the Champions League isn’t only the obligation as the main player. The Denmark national team player is very much needed in the European competition due to his maturity and experience. When Tottenham got defeated by Internazionale 1-2, Eriksen scored the goal for the team.
